What is TempMy?

TempMy is a receive-only temporary email service for short-term inbox use, quick signups, testing, and reducing spam exposure in your primary inbox.

How do I create a temporary email?

Open TempMy and use the generated address, or choose a username and domain when the product offers that option.

How do I copy my temporary email?

Use the copy button next to your temporary email address. If copying fails, select the address manually and copy it from your browser.

Where do received messages appear?

Messages appear in the inbox for the temporary address you are currently using.

How do I refresh my inbox?

Use Refresh messages or enable Auto refresh when available. Keep the inbox page open while waiting.

Can I use TempMy without an account?

Yes, basic temporary inbox use may be available without an account, subject to the limits shown in the product.

Why am I not receiving emails?

Delivery depends on the sender, the sending website, and mail routing. Refresh the inbox, wait a short time, and check whether the website blocks disposable email domains.

Do verification codes always arrive?

No. TempMy can receive verification messages when delivery works, but codes are not guaranteed.

Why does a website reject my TempMy address?

Some websites block disposable email domains or require a permanent email address. TempMy cannot override another website's rules.

Should I try another domain?

If another domain is available, you can try it for low-risk use. It still may be blocked by some websites.

Is TempMy private?

TempMy helps protect your primary inbox by giving you a short-term address. It is not suitable for sensitive information or long-term identity protection.

Should I use TempMy for banking or important accounts?

No. Do not use temporary email for banking, payments, healthcare, government services, legal accounts, or important account recovery.

Can I recover accounts later with a temporary email?

You should not rely on that. Temporary inboxes can expire or become unavailable, so use a permanent email for accounts you need to keep.
